GAT SUMMER

Therapeutic Academic Group (TAG) – Summer

July and August | Ages 2–11 | Sant Cugat (Mirasol)

Summer can be a time of progress... or regression.

In children with autism and severe communication difficulties, the loss of structure can cause:

  • Increased deregulation
  • Setbacks in language
  • Greater behavioral rigidity
  • Difficulty getting back into the routine in September

That's why GAT Summer was created.

It is not an adapted camp. It is a structured therapeutic program.

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Psychology
  • Physiotherapy
  • TEACCH-style structured exercises
  • Music Therapy
  • Art therapy
  • Neurofeedback
  • Social Skills

🧠 What is GAT?

GAT (Therapeutic Academic Group) is an intensive and highly organized program that combines different interventions within a coherent, predictable, and regulatory structure.

It is aimed at children aged 2 to 11 who have been diagnosed with or are suspected of having ASD and severe communication difficulties.

At our center, GAT is working with excellent results.
99% of families are very satisfied, thanks to:

  • Clear and anticipated structure
  • Pace adapted to regulation
  • Alternating between therapeutic load and integration spaces
  • Daily clinical coordination
  • Unified therapeutic approach

⭐3. GAT Premium (GAT + Functional Neurology)

GAT Premium is an intensive and highly structured program that combines:
- Daily therapeutic GAT
- Intensive Functional Neurology, integrated into the program

Duration:
The GAT Premium program can be carried out throughout the month
Within this period, intensive Functional Neurology is carried out in:
1 or 2 consecutive weeks maximum
The limit on the number of weeks of Functional Neurology is set due to the high therapeutic load.

Program structure: during the month, the child attends GAT daily, participating in:
- Occupational therapy.
- Speech therapy.
- Psychology.
- Physical therapy.
- Structured TEACCH-type exercises.
- Music therapy and art therapy according to profile.

During intensive weeks (1 or 2 consecutive weeks), 3 hours of Functional Neurology are added daily, which may include:

- Photobiomodulation.
- Stimulation with Brain Driver.
- Other necessary stimulations.

The neurological program is defined after an initial assessment.
The rest of the schedule continues to be intensive GAT therapy, maintaining consistency between neurological and functional work.

Objective of GAT Premium:
- Combine deep neurological intervention with intensive functional therapy.
- Maximize the benefits of summer.
- Adjust intensity while respecting the child's regulation and well-being.

The neurological program is designed after individual assessment.

👥 Very limited places: 2 children/week
💶 Personalized program (from €5,750 depending on duration and intensity)

🔎 Why is GAT not "doing individual therapy sessions"?

  • Because it is not the sum of independent sessions. It is a clinically coordinated program, where:
    • All professionals share objectives
    • There is constant supervision.
    • Intensity is adjusted according to regulation
    • Work is done to ensure consistency between neurological and functional aspects.
    That makes all the difference.

💬 What if my child has intense behaviors?

We are accustomed to working with children with:

  • High deregulation
  • Disruptive behaviors
  • Low tolerance for frustration
  • Difficulty in functional communication

The environment is structured to anticipate, contain, and accompany these situations with clinical consistency.

To complete the registration process, you must:

  • Initial interview (new families)
  • Signature of acceptance of the program
  • Payment of 25% of the total amount to reserve your place
  • For the Gat - Premium option, it is necessary to book at least two consecutive weeks .

The spot is not considered confirmed until the reservation is received.

The remaining amount must be paid before the start of the program.

Superparents

Parenting is a wonderful experience, but sometimes it takes a superhuman or superheroic effort.

This course, aimed at parents of children and young people, is designed by the psychologists and the founder of the centre and is an online version of an existing face-to-face course with proven success.

Each of the episodes in which it is divided, will serve as a guide to, step by step, help you create the family you want to have, without judging, as we know that we all struggle and try to do the best for our children.

We have decided to share this valuable content after finding that children's behaviour improves considerably when the work is carried out together with parents.

Some of the topics we will deal with are: parenting styles, limits, emotional communication and conflict management. We will talk about the importance of knowing oneself and knowing our children's needs and differentiating them from our own.

We will discover how to build a healthy and secure bond that will help us to better manage difficult situations, as well as to fully enjoy and live the wonderful, but sometimes exasperating, experience of being parents.
